Public Participation
Participatory budgeting and development processes are critical to ensure social, cultural, inter-generational and, significantly, gender-based participation and organization to enhance transparency in the management of public resources and achieve meaningful development that places a value on the contribution of the community. Our role ensures that:
- Communities own their decisions by understand and engaging in the implementation of policies and projects
- There is increased oversight by citizens on public services
- More services are delivered to the community with fiscal efficiency
- There is an increase in transparency and accountability
- FPIC as an engagement process of decision making
- There are better policy outcomes
