We strengthen women’s and girls’ rights by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and platforms to participate meaningfully in decision-making spaces and to challenge systems that exclude, silence, or harm them. Our work is grounded in a feminist, anti-patriarchal approach that addresses gender-based violence, advances sexual and reproductive health and rights, expands economic opportunities, and ensures women’s and girls’ perspectives shape policies, budgets, and governance processes.
We support women’s meaningful participation in governance, budgeting, and public decision-making. By strengthening women’s leadership and collective power, we work to ensure policies and development processes reflect women’s lived realities and priorities.
Our work challenges harmful norms and patriarchal systems, supports survivors to access justice, and strengthens reporting and response mechanisms. We advocate for adequate budgetary allocations for GBV prevention and response and engage in national and regional movements, including the EndFemicideKE movement, to confront rising cases of femicide and advance systemic change.
We work to expand women’s economic power by addressing structural and institutional barriers that limit their access to public resources and economic decision-making. Through advocacy and public participation, we push for gender-responsive budgets, equitable resource allocation, and women’s meaningful participation in economic planning and decision-making spaces. Our work challenges economic systems that exclude women and promotes public investments that reflect women’s lived realities and priorities.
We advocate for inclusive, accessible sexual and reproductive health services and information. Our work supports women and girls to understand and claim their SRHR, influence health policies and budgeting, and participate in advocacy spaces that shape reproductive health governance.
We strengthen the leadership of girls and young women through civic education, skills-building, and participation in decision-making spaces. By supporting young women and girls as leaders and advocates, we equip them to challenge patriarchal systems and participate meaningfully in governance, accountability, and movement-building at community, national, and regional levels.
